I recently had granite countertops installed, and there are quite a few, what I would call, "chips" in the granite. I can actually stick my fingernail into them. Some of them are a little larger (possibly the size of a pencil eraser) and they almost appear to have just a top layer missing (they're rough to the texture). I was told by the people who installed the countertops that all that has to be done is for them to epoxy the spots, sand and buff them, and they'll be good as new. I was wondering if this were true?
Thanks,
Cynthia
