Bordeaux cracks NATURAL?

    help someone, are cracks to be expected on Bordeaux granite that go all the way through? It doesn't even seem to be on a fissure. I have pics but can't figure out how to upload them. There is one long 12 in one that has a small y at end on very long bartop. It is 18 inches wide and has one support about six feet down. We are very worried about resale and repair looks.
