We are considering putting a granite top over our kitchen Island. This Island gets a lot of use as a kitchen table and subject to many spills (little kids). Two questions 1) What is your opinion of Giallo Ornamental for this application as compared to something like Tan/Brown. 2) What is the maximum amount of unsupported overhang you would recommend for granite. The top on this Island currently has an 11" overhang that is about 5' long. Thanks.
