We recently had a U shaped Granite Sky gtanite counter top installed with 2 seams, one in each corner. The right side seam is beautiful with a 1 " return between matching pieces from the same slab. See below.

The left seam joins 2 slabs at the corner. I knew they would not "flow" as well. The problem is that the eased/rounded top edge of the slab on the left extends about 3/4" past the point where the 2 slabs meet at the corner, leaving a gap. The installer tried to fill it in the gap, but it looked terrible. See below.

They returned to remove material from the seam and put new colored epoxy in. It stll does not look good, but I think is the best they can do. See below.

I love my counter top and do not really want to tear it out. Do you think a restoration specialist could do a better job on the "gap" in the front and possibly the whole seam.
I have been unable to find anyone in Washington/Baltimore area.
I have tried to install the pictures from Image Shack as directed, but, I am not sure they will come through.
