scratched granite

    I pulled an earthernware bowl across my granite countertop and then when I wiped the counter with a wet dishcloth, I could see lots of tiny scratches from doing this. It only shows when it is wet, not when its dry. Can earthernware scratch granite? Could the scratches just be in the polish- sealer? When its dry you see nothing. I have polished black granite and its wonderful except now Iam horrified that I have unknowingly scratched it!
