Hi, I have been reading a lot of the questions and answers posted here and formulated one of my own. We are remodeling our kitchen and I want to install Carrara Countertops. I don't mind the etching my mother's dining table is made of carrara and has 40 years and I love it. I was wondering if I should have an impregnator applied before it is installed, or after it is installed and if we should also wax it. If we do this we need to wait 7 days to use our countetops so that they cure, can we cover them with paper to protect them as we work on backsplash and such.. .
