Hi and thanks for taking the time to answer my question....I'm about to purchase countertops for my kitchen...Granite I hope. From reading all your comments, I wonder if a dark color has more opportunity to show water marks then a lighter color? The people in my family are prone not to be as careful as I am. I was looking at Jupurana Columbo, Rosewood,Giallo Veneziano,& Bordeaux. As you stated some of these or all of them probably aren't true granite. Do you have some advice for me.I need to make some decisions quickly. Thank you ,Barb
