Water Stains on "Black Galaxy" countertop

 have Black Galaxy granite countertopsI that have  what appears to be water stains around my sink area.  I looks like a white milky film.  How to I remove it?  My contractor left me cleaner, impregnator and stone polish..what to use?  Also, is 409 bad for this type of surface.
