Candle Wax Stain on Soapstone Countertop

I have an outside kitchen countertop made of soapstone (unoiled) that I love. Several candles accidentally dripped over and left a dark mark on the stone. Can you tell me how to get them out? I tried acetone but that didn't take it out.I tried boiling water but that did not work.   Do I need to make a poultice? And if so, what should the poultice be made of? Thanks in advance for your help.
