Hello, we are building our new home and really loved the look of Travertine.
Is travertine a good choice for flooring in regards to wear and tear ?
We are worried that the holes would be natural magnets for all sorts of dirt.
Also it seems to be a softer marble compared to some solid stones like
serpe giante (whose price is very expensive).
I was also thinking of using an impregnator sealer and after all pores
have been sealed, to apply a surface epoxy sealer as an extra film to
prevent dust getting into the natural holes....
Any of your expert advises would be very much appreciated.
