We just redid our kitchen and had new 1 1/4" thick absolute black granite installed.
Anyhow,
A couple of problems came up:
1. One of the seams is not colored right part of the way through...
2. the bullnosed edge on our island looks messed up, the pics explain it... the rest of the bullnose profile on the counters is nice and round / sharp, this section, its like they ground the stone too much or something.
3. One of the seams in the back is raised... installer said it was the best he could do cause the stone was warped...
Are these issues to be expected or would you get the installer to fix these things?
I imagine the bullnose issue means the granite needs to be pulled out and replaced... how does an installer break the seams etc?
Your input is greatly appreciated!
