absolute black granite

I just put my countertop on today and the store people told me to use gorilla glue to attach the backsplash to the wall and the counter top. I go downstairs to look at it and the gorilla glue bubbled out from underneath the backsplash. How should I remove it? Can I use acetone on the granite? Do I use a blade and cut the excess hoping not to scratch the granite? Please help   Chris
