The marble is not level

 Hi,

My husband did our own small marble island.  He has been doing tile jobs successfully but this did come out good.  The marble is not level.  Is there a way of leveling it now that it's already finished?  Will a wet diamond polisher at least remove the edges and make it a little bit level?
