Hello. I wish to renovate my kitchen cupboards but keep the existing granite benchtops. No-one is interested in removing the benchtops because of fear of breaking the slabs. They appear to be glued in place by blobs of a brown and white substance ( which is rock hard ) placed at intervals along the supports. Can you advise on anything that might dissolve the glue to enable easy removal? The slabs are glued together on the top with the same colour. Hope you can help - thanks. Jane
