I recently had granite called Giallo Antico installed in our kitchen. I noticed that a stain slowly appeared after water was left standing on it. I sealed it with a granite sealer and let it dry for 24 hrs but did not wipe the surface before using polish. Now there appears to be a slight film on the surface that dulls the shine. I buffed, and buffed but it didn't get any better. Should I remove the polish and start over, or must I wait for what I did to be undone? I just want that granite "shine" that attracted me to the surface in the first place. It did shine better before I messed with it so what can I do? Please help. Also, if there is anyone in my area you can recommend to fix it if I can't, please let me know.
