I have Travertine flooring in my kitchen area. I recently purchased an under counter wine cooler only to discover that it is 1/16th" to tall to fit under our counter. I must either cut out the flooring or find a way to grind down the travertine to create enough room for the cooler to fit. Can this material be grounded down, and if so, by what type of tools or do I have to cut and chip it out all together? Please advise!
