We have a two week old shiny absolute black granite worktop - it was sourced from India (apparently).
We now have faded ring stains where we left 2 (empty) beer bottles for about an hour whilst we were having a BBQ at the weekend, and can't remove them. As far as I know, the granite wasn't sealed.
Please could you help me with ideas to remove the stain, and if possible how to seal the worktop? I am sure that granite is not supposed to stain that easily - any explanation as to why this has happened would also be greatly appreciated?
