Marble slabs in the shower.

I have been looking for information about installing marble slabs as shower walls (Crema Marfil).  A contractor suggested this option becuase currently I have 4x4 tile in the entire bathroom and cleaning the grout is a hassle.  I already found a fabricator and contractor to install it, but I am surprised that I cannot find any information/pictures online.  Is it not recommended?  I am wondering if someone has seen this before and can provide feedback.  I would like to have two slabs installed and the other two walls will be glass.  Please advise.
