I need expert advice. My house in New Orleans was flooded and I have slate tile floors in the kitchen and den. I was there while the water was still in my house and I noticed air bubbles coming from the slate floor. The insurance company and contractor are telling me that the floor is not damaged, but neither can explain the air bubbles. I am concerned that water seeped under the tiles and there will be a future problem. I would very much appreciate advice here.
