We just sealed our travertine floors with a high gloss finish and sealer. When it dried it left streak marks from the sponge we used when applying it. We reapplied with other suggested tools but it still streaked. I spoke with a customer representative from the company of the sealer product. He said that we used the wrong product for our type of travertine floors. Our travertine had a dull matte look to it and we wanted it to appear as if it looks wet to enhance the color. In order to start all over we know we have to strip the existing finish/sealer. Is there any easier way to fix the problem? What do you recommend and what is the proper product to use to get that "wet look"? Please help, much thanks.
