I just recently had a Travertine floor installed. It was professionally sealed with Stonetech Enhancer sealer, yesterday. I was going for a low sheen, matt finish. It appears now to have a very 'blotchy' surface finish over the expanse of the tile, with certain tiles/areas looking almost 'dimpled' / blotchy dirty on the surface. The sealer is not completel 'cured' as it has been less than 24 hours. Instead of a nice even finish, the floor looks dirty and mottled, completely detracting from the beauty of the stone. Was it sealed improperly? What can be done, at this juncture to rectify the problem and provide an even matt or low sheen finish across the floor?
