My husband and I would like to use calcutta gold marble for our kitchen counters.ive been hearing mixed reviews about it being good for the kitchen. do you think it ages well? I don't think we will mind the aging if it doesn't look ratty. The other thing was slate for the floor. I spoke to one person who said its not the best idea because it will scratch, but all the slate ive ever seen looks great with some nicks in it from wear and tear..i just don't know who to listen to.
I just don't want to spend a lot of money on the marble and have it look terrible.
